IAT was founded in 1986 by twin brothers, Scott and Kent Sorensen. They were among the first to recognize the productivity advancements made possible by linking the computer and the telephone, and they were the first to design automated telephone contacting technology specifically for the collection industry. IAT is a privately held company based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
