Motivate and Monitor Employees with IAT's New Display Center

Motivating your collectors. It’s a problem every collection agency deals with on a daily basis. Which will it be today, the carrot or the stick? You want to encourage your collectors to do their best work, and usually that involves some kind of bonuses, commissions, or other incentives. At the same time, you know you have to monitor, track, cajole, and retrain to keep them on track. What if you had a tool that could help you do all of that and more?

In response to our customers’ requests, IAT has developed Display Center, a new product that in combination with a large flat screen monitor lets you offer both the carrot and the stick at the same time. And the great thing is, your agents will be able to monitor themselves.

Most collection agencies use whiteboards to track top performing collectors for the day, week, or month. They use bulletin boards to promote contest or activities. Their managers use Manager Center to track how long agents have been in ready, wrap-up, on-call, break, or other modes. Some agencies even display various Manager Center screens on large flat-screen monitors. Now you can do all of these things with one tool.

Display Center lets you create and display information from various sources on one or more wall-mounted monitors or even TV screens. You can post top sales from your collection software, agent status from CT Center, on-going contests from screens you design yourself—even show traffic reports from the Internet—all on one or more displays rotating through each screen at whatever pace you set. With the new floor plan feature built into Manager Center, you can even use your displays as a sales tool during customer visits or audits to show what every collector on the floor is doing.

Because your agents can see when they are spending too much time on wrap-up or in busy mode—along with everyone else on the floor—they will begin to police themselves. And because the screen is constantly updating, agents and managers will keep an eye on it throughout the day. No more need for messy whiteboards, fliers no one sees, and disputed agent activity results. It’s all there on the screens.
